My research focuses on the design and implementation of new agri-environment schemes under the Agriculture Bill 2020. I’m interested in how support for an environmentally sensitive but also economically productive farming sector will be implemented following our departure from the EU and its Common Agricultural Policy; especially in how ‘public money for public goods’ will be conceptualised at a policy level and delivered in practice.
